A three-and-a-half-year-old tigress, suspected of fatally attacking five individuals in Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh, between May and July, has been relocated to the Kanpur zoo. After a week-long rescue operation, the tigress was captured and deemed healthy, but officials determined that releasing her back into the wild posed too great a risk due to her habit of venturing into populated areas.
