After Hezbollah, Hamas says ‘ready’ for truce with Israel in Gaza

Hamas has signaled its readiness for a ceasefire in Gaza, involving a prisoner exchange, through mediators in Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey. The group cites the recent Israel-Hezbollah truce in Lebanon as a precedent, accusing Israel of obstructing a similar deal in Gaza. The Lebanon ceasefire, brokered by the US and France, involves a two-month truce, troop withdrawals, and international monitoring.
