‘Lost communication’: Russian passenger plane with 50 on board goes missing

A plane carrying 50 individuals disappeared in Russia’s far east on Thursday after losing contact with air traffic control. Operated by Angara airline, the aircraft was nearing Tynda in the Amur region, bordering China. Communication ceased just kilometers from its destination, prompting immediate concern and initiating search efforts to locate the missing aircraft and its passengers.
