Prajwal Revanna, the suspended JD(S) leader and grandson of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, has been sentenced to life imprisonment by a special court in Bengaluru for a rape case involving a 47-year-old woman. In addition to the imprisonment, Revanna was fined Rs 10 lakh.
