Pakistan lost Rs 127cr in 2 months after closing airspace for India, says report

Pakistan Airports Authority faced a revenue loss of approximately Rs 123 crore after closing its airspace to Indian-registered aircraft between April 24 and June 30, according to Dawn. This action, following India’s suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, impacted numerous Indian flights daily. A similar closure in 2019 had previously cost Pakistan an estimated Rs 228 crore.
