Stralink debuts in India: Maharashtra becomes first state to ink deal; to boost rural connectivity

Maharashtra has become the first Indian state to partner with Elon Musk’s Starlink for satellite internet services. This collaboration aims to bring high-speed internet to rural and remote regions. The initiative will deploy satellite internet in government institutions and underserved districts. Starlink’s entry into India is set for a commercial launch by early 2026.
