US, S Korea, Japan hold joint drills: North Korea slams ‘reckless show of strength’

The United States, South Korea, and Japan have started a joint military exercise. It is off South Korea’s Jeju Island. The exercise is named Freedom Edge. It aims to boost cooperation against North Korea’s threats. North Korea has condemned the drills. Kim Yo Jong warned of bad results. Talks to curb North Korea’s weapons program are stalled.
