Amazon has secured a significant $30 million deal for carbon credits from sustainable rice farming in India, a first of its kind in the country’s agricultural sector. This initiative, involving over 13,000 farmers, aims to reduce methane emissions and support Amazon’s net-zero targets by promoting water-saving cultivation techniques.
