A revered stone, closely protected by the Baiga tribe in Dindori, has been revealed to be a rare coral fossil from the time of dinosaurs, dating back sixty-five million years. After rigorous field and lab examinations, scientists affirmed its significance. The Baiga people’s foresight in recognizing its value has preserved it for generations. Notably, selected geological discoveries from Dindori will soon grace the state’s museum exhibitions.
