‘It’s madness’: Viswanathan Anand loses on time after declining draw against Sindarov

Viswanathan Anand endured another frustrating day at the Global Chess League on Tuesday, suffering two defeats, including a dramatic loss on time to Javokhir Sindarov despite having winning chances. Anand called the game a “comedy of errors” after declining a draw offer. World Championship challenger Sindarov, however, called Anand “world-class”, showering praise on the legend’s enduring quality at 56.
