The Education Ministry has announced the National Institutional Ranking Framework 2025. The Indian Institute of Technology Madras secured the top rank. This is the tenth edition of the rankings. The rankings include categories like Engineering, Management, and Medicine. A new Sustainable Development Goals category is introduced. IIT Madras has consistently topped the rankings since 2016.
