Apart from Coldrif, WHO flags Respifresh TR and ReLife as contaminated drugs

Following child deaths linked to contaminated cough syrups in India, the WHO has warned of potential export risks via unregulated channels. While India’s drug regulator confirmed diethylene glycol in some products, it stated none were exported. Karnataka conducted random checks and found no substandard cough syrups, banning suspected contaminated products.
