A 35-year-old former software engineer, P Sushma, died by suicide in Bengaluru. Her father alleges dowry harassment and domestic fights by her husband, Puneet Kumar, and his mother. The couple married five years ago and has a four-year-old son. Police have arrested Puneet Kumar on charges of dowry death. Sushma’s family claims they provided substantial dowry at the wedding.
