The Uttar Pradesh State Women’s Commission has proposed new safety guidelines to protect women in public spaces. These guidelines include requiring female staff in women’s clothing stores and on school buses, as well as mandating female trainers in gyms and yoga studios. The commission is also considering prohibiting male tailors from taking women’s measurements.
