Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has approved the ‘Made in India’ AMCA fighter jet program, aiming to produce a fifth-generation stealth aircraft. This initiative seeks to bolster India’s air power and foster a domestic aerospace industry. Private sector companies are invited to participate, either independently or through joint ventures.
