Move away from US: China exports emerge strong despite Trump’s tariff chaos

Despite US tariff pressures, China’s exports have shown surprising resilience, achieving a record trade surplus of $586 billion in the first half of the year. While exports to the US declined, Chinese businesses successfully diversified into other markets, particularly ASEAN countries, which saw a 17% increase.
