Kannada actress Ranya Rao faces a year in jail for gold smuggling, following an order from the COFEPOSA Advisory Board, which also denied her bail. Arrested at Bengaluru airport with 14.8 kg of gold worth Rs 12.56 crore smuggled from Dubai, Ranya’s earlier bail pleas were rejected.
