A 2002 Delhi Police operation arrested three Lashkar-e-Taiba operatives, leading to the neutralization of two commanders. Two of the arrested, Sajjad Gul and Shabbir Lone, later escaped India after serving their sentences. They have since resurfaced abroad, with Gul heading a LeT proxy and Lone allegedly running a terror network in Bangladesh.
